Love…

“If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care — then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends. Don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.” (Philippians‬ ‭2:1-4‬ ‭MSG‬‬)
Heavenly Father thank You for inspiring me everyday. Father I come to You In the Name of Jesus…thank You Jesus for a new day. Some days Father I’m at a loss for words because You do so much and words just don’t seem to be enough. Father God let the peace of our Lord and Savior dwell in our hearts. Guide us Lord to always be helpful to others…let whatever help or guiding we have to offer come from our heart and not because we’re looking for recognition…”Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.” (Colossians‬ ‭3:15-17‬ ‭MSG‬‬). Lord Jesus be our guide, the source of our strength. Teach us Lord to love and not hate each other. Show us how to love as You Father love us. Just to know that You love us so much Father that You sent Your only Son to die so that we may live eternally, thank You Jesus…“My dear, dear friends, if God loved us like this, we certainly ought to love each other. No one has seen God, ever. But if we love one another, God dwells deeply within us, and his love becomes complete in us—perfect love!” (1 John‬ ‭4:11-12‬ ‭MSG‬‬). Lord I know we don’t always do the right thing or live according to Your Word, we don’t always make the right decisions, but you know what’s in our heart. Father help us to let go of all bitterness and resentment. “Make a clean break with all cutting, backbiting, profane talk. Be gentle with one another, sensitive. Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you.” (Ephesians‬ ‭4:31-32‬ ‭MSG‬‬). Father God You are the One Who binds up and heals all. I receive Your anointing that breaks and destroys all evil, anger, hurt and danger. Father God in the Name of Jesus I receive Your healing, emotional and physical, I receive Your forgiveness, thank You Jesus. “He forgives your sins—every one. He heals your diseases—every one. He redeems you from hell—saves your life! He crowns you with love and mercy—a paradise crown. He wraps you in goodness—beauty eternal. He renews your youth—you’re always young in his presence.” (Psalm‬ ‭103:3-5‬ ‭MSG‬‬). Lord Jesus, thank You for helping me walk in forgiveness. Lord the same way that You have brought healing to my life, bring healing to those that have hurt me so they can experience Your peace and walk in Your love. “Our Scriptures tell us that if you see your enemy hungry, go buy that person lunch, or if he’s thirsty, get him a drink. Your generosity will surprise him with goodness. Don’t let evil get the best of you; get the best of evil by doing good.” (Romans‬ ‭12:20-21‬ ‭MSG‬‬). I will not let the bad habit of slander and gossip take over my life but I will develop a good habit of staying positive and keeping my life focused on You Lord. I will develop a habit of praying not just for my family and friends, but also for my enemies. Thank You Jesus for guiding me with Your Word; it keeps me focused on You and my desire to learn more about You. Father I pray that these words are strengthening and guidance to someone. In Jesus Name. Amen!!!
