Trusting in God

Heavenly Father there is so much that You have blessed me with, love, peace, comfort, understanding and clarity. “Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” (James‬ ‭1:16-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬). Father God when You give me understanding and clarity about things and how things come to be I am amazed. Father God thank You for reminding me that everything I ask You for is not always for me, sometimes Your answer is no or I’m not ready for it yet. Father God thank You for the reminder to not doubt You, but to be patient, Your timing is always the right time. “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:”(Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬). Father God thank You for making me aware that any time labels are placed on me, it’s the enemy using at work. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” (I Peter‬ ‭5:8-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬). Father God thank You for making it clear those tactics of the enemy and every possible plan, plot and idea he may use. “lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.” (II Corinthians‬ ‭2:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬). Father God thank You for making me aware of the devices the enemy uses, in every shape, style and form; thank You for reminding me of exactly how he has tried and will continue to try to place doubt on my mind. Father God thank You for turning those wandering thoughts of doubt into complete faith in You. In Jesus Name. Amen!!!

I’m a prayer warrior who prays no matter what. I trust in God. He makes the impossible become possible. I love everyone no matter their faults or their past. Forgiveness is important to me. I refuse to judge because of what I see or others may say. I’m a fighter, I lean on God and the courage and strength he fills me with. Sometimes my prayers tell who I am and sometimes they’re focused on what others are possibly going through. This is who I am. Joan “Joanie” Maria
